When I first started my job as a pediatrician in January 2016, I didn’t think I’d ever be a medical doctor.
But the thought of one day being in the medical profession scared me, especially after hearing so many stories of patients dying from preventable diseases and seeing so many doctors who are still in the profession today who haven’t been through what I’ve gone through.
I never thought I’d get to be in the hospital when I got married, but then I was there when my wife’s dad passed away from cancer.
I also learned from my colleagues how to treat a variety of serious and non-serious conditions.
The good news is that I’m working at a prestigious hospital and there are plenty of jobs to choose from, and it’s not as hard as it sounds.
