How to get the flu vaccine if you can’t get it in the U.S.

The U.K., Canada and Australia have been among the most recent countries to allow students in some schools to get a flu vaccine on campus, which has raised concerns about how well that might work.

The government in Washington said in March it was considering the possibility of letting students in the nation’s capital use the vaccine in some public schools.

On Monday, the National Academy of Sciences, a nonprofit group, said that the flu shot is the best bet to protect students in high-risk schools and could lead to an increase in flu vaccine use.

A few days after the NAS suggested allowing students to take the vaccine, the CDC released a study that found that it had a positive impact on student health.

In a blog post, the agency said that in addition to reducing the risk of flu, the vaccine had also been shown to prevent flu-related infections.
