New York City’s public school district is introducing a program for kids to learn how to become goldfish instructors.
The program, dubbed Goldfish Swim School, is open to kids ages 6-12, according to the New York Times.
The goal is to teach kids how to “be a Goldfish Instructor.”
It is part of a larger effort by the district to diversify its teaching workforce.
The district has previously announced plans to hire 50 teachers in the next three years.
